I am indescribably grateful for the opportunities my education has brought me. To pay it forward, I have worked since my graduation to help high school students open their own doors to college.
A native Dallasite, I attended Princeton University and earned an A.B. in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, as well as a certificate (Princeton's version of a minor) in European Cultural Studies. After taking time off to do healthcare consulting and to work in a bookstore, I resumed my education at American University's Washington College of Law, where I earned a J.D. I maintain inactive status as a member of the Texas Bar.
In my free time, I do recreational reading, visit with family and friends, and spend an inordinate amount of time chasing my chihuahua mix, Elly. I also have a bizarre fondness for proofreading.
